If you are considering growing cut flowers to sell, whether it be in your back garden or on a couple of acres, this course is designed to help you plan the next step. Group sizes are kept small so that you receive as much individual attention as possible. You will learn about the following:

Designing your layout to save time and make money
What skills, time and budget will you need
How to find a market for your flowers
Planning how much and what to grow
Presentation, packaging and pricing
Useful tools and equipment
Recommended suppliers

The day includes a comprehensive handout and a home cooked lunch and refreshments, using garden ingredients wherever possible.

As one of the most established flower farms in the country, grower Rachel Siegfried has experienced all the challenges of running a successful cut flower business. She will share her insight with you to help plan and develop your flowery dream.

Come and learn from her 6 acre farm what is possible with careful planning, hard work and an irrepressible love of flowers. Rachel’s partner Ashley is also available for all those machinery, irrigation and fertility questions. Here is a blog with more pictures of what to expect.
