Lathyrus latifolius ‘Pink Pearl’ – Everlasting Sweet Pea

This vigorous perennial can quickly produces a mass of winged stems covered in sprays of pale pink flowers from July to September. It is not scented but makes up for it as a wonderful trailing element which cuts beautifully.

Growing tips: Sow in the same way as other Sweet Peas in the Autumn or early Spring, in rootrainers and grow on cool, pinching out to encourage bushy plants. Use a strong support system at least 1.8m tall when planting out. Will take 2 years to flower enough for cutting.

Harvesting/Arranging tips: Pick long trails to create scale in larger arrangements and shorter pieces to add movements and informality to bouquets and centrepieces.
