Half Hardy Annuals
Half-hardy plants are frost tender so you will need to wait until after the last frost before sowing and planting them out. These will give you a volume of flowers from July through to the first frosts in the Autumn. They have the longest flowering period of all the plant groups, just keep picking and they will keep coming. To get a head start sow them indoors in a light, frost-free place in March/April so you have sturdy little plants to put out in May/June.
