Nicotiana hybrida ‘Starlight Dancer’
A recent cross between N.langsdorfii and N.alata, this rather special Nicotiana has become a firm favourite. It is a pleasure to work with, lighting up arrangements with its delicate star-shaped flowers in glowing white flushed chartreuse green. They are borne on tall, elegant stems with a slightly nodding habit, adding graceful movement. Despite looking fragile they are real workhorses with a three month flowering period and can last up to two weeks in a vase. Fragrant in the evening.

Growing tips: seeds need light to germinate so just give them the lightest sprinkling of vermiculite.
Harvesting/Arranging tips: Pick when a third of the flowers are open on the stem, pick when cool and give them a long drink before arranging. The stems will feel sticky to the touch.
