Miscanthus sinensis ‘New Hybrids’ – Japanese Silver Grass
This one needs lots of space and makes a superb shelter belt or boundary to your cutting garden: plant it north to south on the prevailing wind side. Our latest flowering grass and my favourite for drying. It comes in a diverse range of forms and shades, with erect, airy, silvery to pale pink flower plumes produced in late summer and autumn.
