Anethum graveolens ‘Mariska’ –  Florists Dill

A more robust form of Dill, with tall stems and large chartreuse green umbels. Wonderfully fragrant, both it’s flowers and leaves are also good for culinary use. Loved by hoverflies and self seeds freely.

Growing tips: prefers to be direct sown, support the stems and grow in a sheltered position to avoid windrock. Sow successionally starting in April when the ground has warmed up.

Harvesting/Arranging tips: harvest when the umbels are fully open and almost going to seed
